Types of authorizations and days allowed
RESIDENTS OF THE MUNICIPALITIES OF THE FRIGNANO PARK - Green card
(Fanano, Fiumalbo, Frassinoro, Montecreto, Pievepelago, Riolunato, Sestola)
Picking allowed up to 5 kg per day in the municipalities of the Park, up to 3 kg elsewhere.
Picking prohibited on Mondays and Fridays, plus Tuesdays outside the territory of the municipalities mentioned above.
Residents of the municipalities of the Frignano Mountain Municipalities Union and the Dolo, Dragone and Secchia Valley Mountain Municipalities Union. - Yellow card
(Lama M., Pavullo, Polinago, Serramazzoni, Montese, Montefiorino, Palagano, Prignano)
Picking allowed up to 5 kg per day in the aforementioned municipalities, up to 3 kg elsewhere.
Prohibition on harvesting on Mondays and Fridays, plus Tuesdays outside the territory of the municipalities listed above.

Regional Law no. 6/96 Regulations for the harvesting and marketing of spontaneous epigeal mushrooms
Art. 5 Harvesting limits
1. The maximum quantity of the daily harvest per person is set at 3 kg, of which no more than 1 kg of the species Amanita caesarea (Good ovule) and Calocybe gambosa (Blackthorn); if the harvest consists of a single specimen or a single bunch of mushrooms grown together, this limit may be exceeded.
2. For ecological and health reasons, the collection of Amanita caesarea (Good Ovule) in the closed ovule state is prohibited.
3. The collection of specimens of Boletus edulis (Porcino) and related group with a cap diameter of less than 3 cm and specimens of Calocybe gambosa (Blackthorn) and Cantharellus cibarius (Chanterelle) with a cap diameter of less than 2 cm is also prohibited.
4. Collection is also prohibited in gardens and on land belonging to residential properties adjacent to the properties themselves, except for the owners.
5. In the presence of particular seasonal climatic conditions and fungal growth, the competent bodies may set collection quantities lower than those established in this law.
Art. 6 Collection methods
1. Collection is permitted on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays for Tuesdays (refer to the residence) during daylight hours, from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. These limitations do not apply to the subjects referred to in art. 5, paragraph 4, and art. 10, limited to collection carried out in the areas considered therein.
2. In mountain areas, the competent bodies may authorize residents to collect on a further day (Tuesday).
3. Collection must be carried out by collecting whole specimens complete with all the parts necessary to determine the species, proceeding instead to a summary cleaning of the same.
4. Collection using rakes, hooks or other means that may damage the humus layer of the soil, the fungal mycelium or the root system of the plants is prohibited.
5. The collection of even partially decomposed mushrooms is prohibited, as is the voluntary damage or destruction of spontaneous epigeal mushrooms of any species.
6. Collected mushrooms must be placed in rigid and ventilated containers.
