miraggio invernale miraggio invernale

(probably already risen in the classic version with exit to the right )

Difficulty: Ice II / 5
Development : 45m

Location: Lake Saint to Jaufen , Tuscan Emilian Apennines .

Access: from the refuge Victoria, reachable by car , the falls are visible in the bottom of the lake on the left. To reach along the lake on the right just below the lava . Avoid , even if frozen , to cross the lake directly .
After reaching the first casting , go up the small canyon on sinistra.Tempo 30 minutes.

Material: 2corde 60m , normal alpinism equipment , fully protectable with ice screws

Report: A first delicate step , enter the chute of ice at 70 ° / 80 ° to about 20m, up to the base of the column of ice beneath the large stalactites .
From here you can easily get out on the easy ramp to the right, or as in our case , to directly address the pillar of ice until terminated under a canopy of rock. Gently snap the stalactite hanging on the right, and on this providential reach the shaft that protrudes from the edge , then with the passage of acrobatic wood tooling go out in the woods.

Descent: with a comfortable double 50m from one of the trees on the summit sommatale.tenersi right to avoid the trap of strings.

General considerations: The route is a real mirage , as the falls of this type are difficult to form in the Apennines , and the output suspended in the air with the shaft coupling is a true acrobatic pass , which makes this waterfall really fun and unique .
The difficulties of the column, drop significantly after the first few steps.
The entire cast is excellent protectable with screws on an excellent ice , at least on the day of our climb .
It is recommended to climb this route only with good ice conditions , the stalactite finish is very delicate.
