An experience to go through!
Since we are located in the most beautiful part of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, our products, in addition to being excellent and genuine, are typical of the place and the places near us. Most of the products are home-made, as the local tradition dictates.
FIRST COURSES
If we want to talk about first courses, we prepare Tortelloni, Tagliatelle, Cannelloni, Baked Lasagna, Gnocchi and Polenta, seasoned with meat sauce or mushroom sauce (obviously homemade).
SECOND COURSES
As second courses we prepare:
Trout, a dish that is never missing in our refuge in the summer; game, such as Wild Boar or Roe Deer; abundant Grilled meat and excellent Roasts, furthermore, we can offer you excellent Cheese (always locally produced) accompanied with exquisite honey (produced in our superb Apennines by two of our dear friends).
DESSERTS
As for desserts, we prepare excellent Tarts with jams of wild berries, since we have so many in the area, for example Raspberries or Blueberries.
Blueberries are picked in our mountains during the summer by people who practice this type of work, which despite being hard and demanding, guarantees the quality and freshness of our local product. In the summer season we offer them both as a dessert, accompanied by excellent whipped cream, and as a digestive, in the form of a liqueur called, obviously, Mirtillino.
WINES
Last but not least, let's talk about wine: there is something for all tastes and all budgets!! In addition to the classic bottles we have a good bulk wine that goes well with our cuisine.
Being in the Modena Apennines we could not forget about an excellent product like Lambrusco.
