The UISP divers, led by Nino Velardo, attempted a daring dive under the ice.
Despite not knowing the place, they were equipped to the letter and completed an extreme dive in a short time and in the best possible way!

Well done!!! and see you soon back here at Lago Santo!!!

CIVIL PROTECTION EXERCISE

On the weekend of March 10/11, 2012, a Civil Protection exercise by Volunteers from Persiceto (Bologna) was held at Lago Santo, with a dive under the ice. The thickness measured (between ice and snow) about one meter!!!!

And here is the video that the Civil Protection volunteers of San Giovanni in Persiceto made this year, the first weekend of March (the only one with good weather!!).....

Unfortunately we were closed (for Leonardo's arrival), but our friends made "base camp" with their tent in front of our refuge.

While waiting for it to be repeated next year, we wish you good viewing.

Some shots of days spent with the ACQUARIA group from Bologna led by my crazy friend Giovanni NINO Palmisano.... let's hope they give us the green light to enjoy the lake from "inside" too!
